On November 10, 2010 my newest pop-up book Charles Dickens
A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be published by Little, Brown and Company. Simultaneously, I am entering the exciting world of the Apple iPad universe when my interactive Apps, A CHRISTMAS CAROL for the iPad, and
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS are launched. These two apps are the first of many planned introductions of my vision for illustrated interactive Apps. I am also very excited to enter the world of E-commerce this year in response to requests from my fans to be able to order personalized hand signed copies of all of my books.

 

Fischer's book, Christmas in New York: A Pop-Up Book (Little, Brown) has become a perennial holiday favorite and Christmas Around the World: A Pop-Up Book (Little, Brown) was, accompanied by an extensive collection of Christmas ornaments produced by Kurt Adler, along with fine paper products by CR Gibson. Christmas Around The World was chosen as one of USA Today’s Top Ten holiday books for 2007 and both books appeared on the Barnes and Noble best seller list.

In The Beginning: The Art of Genesis (Little, Brown) was published in 2008, and ANGELS: A Pop-Up Book (Little, Brown) was chosen by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to be featured in their Holiday 2010 catalog.

The White House: A Pop-Up Book (2004), Great American Houses and Gardens: A Pop-Up Book (2002), and Wallcoverings: Applying the Language of Color and Pattern (2003) were published by Rizzoli.

Fischer’s three signature collections of china and crystal for LENOX, are available at Amazon.com and at fine department stores in the US and Canada. His collections of fabric and wallpaper designs are available at F. Schumacher and Co. and Brunschwig & Fils

Fischer’s work is in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum and in the Smithsonian Institution Libraries exhibition - Paper Engineering: Fold, Pull, Pop, and Turn at the Museum of American History. Fischer was chosen as a Visiting Artist at the AMERICAN ADADEMY IN ROME.

2010 marks the fourth year Fischer has been honored with the commission to create the annual holiday card for The White House Historical Association.
