| Ocho
Rios Cotton Print is a variation on the large leaf motif that
Fischer first created for the 1994 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse. Inspired
by French eighteenth-century sepia wallpapers, the design features huge
tropical fronds floating above a pale tone-on-tone field. The stony pattern
again defines the ground behind a composite of neutral panels. The rendering
throughout is painterly, defined by gestural brushstroke textures and layered
washes of color. Like Kalaheo Botanica, Ocho Rios has a well-concealed
repeat that gives the design a seamless rhythm. The overscale patterns
make these fabrics ideal for lofty window treatments, while the lush botanical
themes would work well in sun-filled vacation homes or interiors that draw
upon exotic landscapes. Brunschwig & Fils, Inc. | Available as fabric only |
